This is not a commercial release there's not even a download! This guy just wanted to share what he, as a fan, was challenging himself with, and he did a pretty fine job. It doesn't take a trained teacher or paedagogical researcher to recognise that this was obviously a learning effort in gamemaking. Thank you for being constructive! Maybe try to do something similar to taking damage in Megaman X The blinking on and off thing doesn't really translate well to 3d. The Ridley character animations need to be smoother, with better transitions -The 'taking damage' animation and effect needs improvement. Right now it's pretty much entirely absent. Otherwise, it looks like the projectiles are coming out of her knee. SOME THINGS THAT NEED WORK: -conservation of momentum: when Samus shoots while running, the projectile's initial velocity should include her velocity. There's too much good stuff here to list. The portal models and animations are awesome. The particle effects when blasts make contact with surfaces are really nice. The lighting effects and character models are great. While this is far from perfect, it's also very very far from shit. Apparently, to them, things are either "perfect" or "shit", with no room inbetween.
